Welcome to Maths tutor KT!
Maths tutor KT provides group online Maths sessions aimed at GCSE students either following Higher tier hoping to gain confidence and achieve their best in the exam or Foundation tier who need a bit of support to achieve Pass or Good Pass in their GCSE exams.
I also work with A level students to help them bridge the gap between GCSE and A level Maths as well as support them in preparation for their A level exams.
My Story
I am an outstanding, qualified Maths teacher with 12 years of classroom experience.

I have decided to peruse teaching career after working for 20 years in an accounting profession and obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Maths and Statistics.
I gained my teaching qualification in an outstanding secondary school in Hertfordshire, where I continued to teach 11 to 18 year old students for 10 years. I followed this by working as a Head of Maths department in North London School four two years, before I decided to dedicate more of my time to closely working with students to build on their confidence and develop their Mathematical understanding.

In addition to holding a qualified teacher status, I also have up to date enhanced DBS certificate.

I am a highly skilled and experienced mathematics teacher, with passion for helping students succeed. My experience in maths classroom, teaching various ages and levels helped me develop a deep understanding of the subject and effective teaching techniques.

I believe in fostering a love for mathematics by engaging students in interactive learning activities, stimulating discussions, and making learning maths a fun and enjoyable experience.
